Our Story
From one loom-side stall to a name wholesalers trust
Padmavati Textile started as a small family stall in Surat’s textile market, selling handwoven sarees sourced directly from local weavers. What set us apart from day one was not scale, it was honesty about fabric quality and fair pricing, even when it meant a smaller margin.
As word spread among boutique owners and retailers, our wholesale side grew alongside our retail counter. Today, Padmavati Textile serves both: wholesalers who need reliable bulk stock, and women who want a saree they will actually wear again.
We still visit our weaving partners in person. We still check every bolt of fabric by hand. That part of the business was never going to scale away.
